The Cornish Cob Society was started in April 2014 by Leslie Cornell, an accomplished practitioner and avid enthusiast of cob.

There are numerous societies, clubs and associations representing historic buildings, ancient monuments etc, however there was no organisation solely dedicated to cob.

With over 15 years experience in all aspects of cob, Leslie has rebuilt with, made repairs to and advised on cob and its characteristics.

Fundamentally, the Cornish Cob Society hopes to achieve widespread recognition of, a fuller understanding toward and preservation advice for all cob walls in Cornwall.

The Cornish Cob Society website is not a discussion forum (yet!), however, pictorial and text postings are crucial for the Society to succeed.
